Spring Haven Mansion was constructed in the early 1800s by Polly Wagnon and her husband, John, who was a close friend and personal physician of Andrew Jackson. Jackson was a frequent visitor to the property. Many of the design elements of his home, the Hermitage, are reflected at Spring Haven.
